Schelling-Salon in Munich

This is where Munich comes together. After a workshop we had a great evening here. With billiards, table tennis and one or the other light.

Lousy juice shop. If you bring your own Uno game you have to pay 7 € to be able to play it. On which planet is this normal? Manager became abusive and couldn't explain this bizarre rule. The owner had only half put on his mouth, nose guard. He's a bad choleric.

It is nice to have original bavarian food for a reasonable price.

For me one of the coolest shops in Munich - and unfortunately one of the few of that kind. Great price-performance ratio. Down-to-earth cuisine and unbeatable beer prices! The highlight are definitely the pool tables. Very mixed and funny crowd. We come here regularly and always with pleasure.

The Schelling Salon is unique. There is nothing like that in Munich again. Some love it, others find it impossible. I've known him for a long time, I am there irregularly and I love him because of his uniqueness. It's not a culinary highlight, you have to get involved with it and accept it as it is, and the Schellingsalon has its own rules. I hope he stays a long time. Because without him, my neighborhood is no longer what it is at the moment!

Unfortunately, there are only rarely such good things. Really nice pub, solid home-style cooking, large portions (good for students, not so good for me ;-), I can recommend it to everyone at any time.

If you want to play cards despite your own cards and regardless of how full it is, you have to pay 7 euros an absolute cheek I would not recommend anyone to go there the boss is extremely rude

Super rustic shop! Price / performance ratio for the food was excellent! Nice service! Crazy with table tennis and table football in the back building!

Great place even crowded you can fine some space. Didn't consumed beer, the table price is fair when devided between 4 or more people.

Historic place with lots of good billiards. You can have fun with your friends enjoying coffee or beer and playing American or French billiards !!

Small shnitzel

Very rude staff. Because of our complaints we were kicked out by the owner. We wanted to explain the situation. The owner made fun of it all the time and reacted totally like an alcoholic. So not recommended.

Ich gebe ein Stern weil es nur ein Stern gibt. Gar keine Service und schlimmste Erlebnis in München. We waited twenty minutes for the waiter to arrange a seat, and then another fifteen minutes before we came to order. We said we wanted to order a little Radler, and the waiter said with a very rude tone, this is not! We only have it on the menu. Then she left. After another ten minutes, she came over again. We said we wanted to order a colalight. She said, "I said, I can only order drinks on the menu!" First, there will be a restaurant without cola in 2020 in Munich. Second, we are not here to do reading comprehension. We are here to receive services. Third, there is no service at all here, only the arrogant Sima face waiter. Not recommended at all, it is recommended to close down.

Too loud,uncomfortable,and few choices for drinking and food. And the waitress is very unfriendly. The billiard table is smaller than regular one.

Café Bistro with 3 Tablet Tennis and around 10 Pool/Billiard Boards. Nice place near Universität area. Can be very crouded towards afternoon. Morning is mostly free.

Great historic place for family fun, pool, snooker,kicker,ping pong, full menu of Bavarian Specialities and a traditional waitress staff. In the Heart of fabulous Schwabing University district with Bus Tram and easy walking to 2 Ubahn lines. THIS is Munich.

Terrible service. The waiter was unbelievable rude, and really slow. The only good things are the pool tables and the table tennis.

We were here to play billiards. During our entire stay, we were only treated unfriendly by the staff. Playing billiards was also not really possible, as we were repeatedly hindered by the controls while playing. When we asked the boss of the restaurant when we left, we were laughed at. Definitely not to be recommended!

Service really isn't great. Only pool bar in Maxvorstadt, which is the biggest selling point. Beer is normally priced, but Goasmaẞ is 13,70€, which is unfortunate and disappointing. Servers were quite rude

Good place for team events with colleagues. Billiard and food together under one roof. Service is just average.

A non respectful team works there and the beer it wasn't so good. The only good thing it's the ping pong table.

Wanted to get some snacks and a few beers with my friends. All we got served was dry bread and really old pretzels - wouldn’t wanna recommend this to anyone

As always, there was very good food in a cozy atmosphere with friendly and competent staff.

The place is nice, you can play biliard until midnight...but unfortunately the stuff is very unfriendly. I wouldn't recommand it. There are other restaurants and bars on the Schellingstraße that are 10 times better

We go there to play some indoor table tennis, but the service is not something that makes me want to sit for a drink or eat something.

What a classic. "Vienna coffee house flair" is exxagerated though. Very affordable meals, good atmosphere and always at least a little crowded.

It is real original. Average prices. Great atmosphere. Maybe some music would make it even better. It is really crowded, if you plan to play billiards you better call before to reserve.
